Q: Why does Teletrade® offer Gold Rewards Points?
A:Teletrade® appreciates the repeat and continued business of our loyal clients. We want to reward that loyalty by giving them a choice of valuable products and services as a way of saying thank you for choosing Teletrade®.
Q: How do I enroll to participate in the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Program?
A:If you are already a Teletrade® registered bidder you are automatically enrolled. If you sign up now to become a new Teletrade® registered bidder, you will automatically be enrolled upon registration.
Q: Do I have to pay to participate in the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points Program?
A:The program is open to all Teletrade® registered bidders free of charge. There is no cost to participate in the program, but you must bid, win, and pay for auction lots in Teletrade® online auctions to earn points.
Q: How do I earn Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points?
A:You earn Gold Rewards Points for every purchase you make in Teletrade® auctions after July 1, 2008. A standard Gold Level Member earns 1 Gold Rewards Point for every auction dollar spent. A Platinum Level member earns 1.25 Gold Rewards Points for every auction dollar spent. All points are maintained by Teletrade® based on paid invoiced purchase amounts.
Q: I just paid for an auction invoice. When will my Gold Rewards Points show up?
A:Your new Gold Rewards Points appear on our web site within one business day of your auction payment. Rewards from other sources and promotions may appear immediately.
Q: How can I become a Platinum Level Member?
A:You will qualify for 12 months of Platinum Level Membership when you make $30,000 in Teletrade® auction purchases over any 60-day period.
Q: Do all Teletrade® auctions count toward earning Gold Rewards Points?
A:Yes, all lots in all auctions will earn Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points for the winning bidders. Plus, be sure to visit Teletrade® frequently and watch your email inbox for announcements of opportunities to earn extra points for your purchases of special lots and in special Teletrade® auctions.
Q: How do I know how many Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points I have?
A:Simply log in to your Teletrade® account as you would normally. Your current points and most recent activity are posted for you to review at your convenience, 24 hours a day.
Q: How do I redeem Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points?
A:Redeeming your points is easy! Simply visit the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Vault to view the list of items currently available. Choose the items you would like to purchase with your qualifying Gold Rewards Points, then call Teletrade® customer service at 800-949-2646 to place your order.
Q: When will I receive my items that I redeem with my Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points?
A:Teletrade® assures you we will process your order in as timely a manner as possible, and you should receive your order via USPS within 10 days of placing it.
Q: Are there any costs to redeem my Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points?
A:No, there are no costs to redeem your Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points, just the actual number of points needed for the product or service.
Q: Do Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points expire?
A:Yes. Your points expire after six months with no auction purchases on your account, or one year from date of issue, whichever comes first. But with the variety of items to choose from in the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Vault, we don't think you will want to wait!
Q: Is there a maximum number of Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points I can earn?
A:With Teletrade® Gold Rewards, the more you purchase, the more you get back! There is no limit to the number of points you can accumulate. But be sure to use them before they expire! See the above question for expiration details.
Q: What happens to my Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points if I return my auction purchase?
A:On the off chance that you are dissatisfied with your Teletrade® auction purchase and choose to return it (see Teletrade® Return Policy), the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points that you earned with that purchase will be deleted from your account. If you have already redeemed your points, it is possible that your Teletrade® Gold Rewards account will have negative points, until you accumulate more with your future purchases. You must have positive points in order to redeem for products and services, equal to or greater than the number of points required for the item(s) you want.
Q: Can I earn Teletrade® Gold Rewards Points for my consignments?
A:At present time the Teletrade® Gold Rewards Program is limited to earning points for your auction purchases only. But visit the Teletrade® web site frequently for updates as the program is expanded in the coming months.
Q: What if I don't want to participate in Teletrade® Gold Rewards?
A:Well, because it is free to you as a Teletrade® registered bidder, and because there are so many terrific items to redeem, we can't imagine why you wouldn't want to. But it is absolutely up to you to participate or not. If you choose not to participate, simply do nothing and any points that you automatically accumulate will simply be allowed to expire. Your Teletrade® account will not be affected in any way and you are free to continue as a registered bidder as you were before the program began.
